Terms of service

These terms cover your use of OwnerCare Pro, the service at ownercarepro.com and app.ownercarepro.com that pool, spa, and irrigation contractors use to send care reminders to their customers. By creating an account, you agree to them. “You” means the business that holds the account and anyone who logs in to it.

Your account

• OwnerCare Pro is for businesses. The person who signs up must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for the business.
• Give accurate business details. Your business name appears on every message your customers receive.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your login.

Pricing

OwnerCare Pro is free until at least January 1, 2027. When billing starts, the plans are:

• Basic: $49 a month, up to 10 customers.
• Advanced: $99 a month, up to 50 customers.
• Pro: $200 a month, unlimited customers.

A customer is a homeowner you add. Sample customers don't count. We will email your login address at least 30 days before billing starts. Nothing is charged unless you choose a plan and add a payment method, and you can cancel instead. Features may change as we improve the service.

Consent for texts and email

You send reminders to your customers through OwnerCare Pro, so you are responsible for having their permission.

• Only add a mobile number after the customer has agreed to receive text reminders from your business, using wording like the script on our SMS terms page. Consent can't be a condition of a sale.
• Only add an email address for a customer you've done work for, who expects to hear from you about it.
• Use OwnerCare Pro for care and service reminders about work you did. Don't use it for unrelated advertising, bought or rented contact lists, or messages on behalf of other businesses.
• Follow the laws and carrier rules that apply to your messages, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and CAN-SPAM.

OwnerCare Pro stops texts when a customer replies STOP and stops emails when they unsubscribe. Don't re-add a number or address to get around an opt-out. You're responsible for the wording you write in your reminders.

Your data

Your customer list and the information in it belong to you. We use it only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. Email us any time for a copy of your customer list.

Acceptable use

Don't use OwnerCare Pro to send anything unlawful, misleading, or harassing, to impersonate another business, or to interfere with the service or other accounts.

Delivery

Texts and email pass through phone carriers and email providers we don't control. We work to deliver every reminder on its date, but we can't guarantee that each message arrives or arrives on time.

Cancelling

You can stop using OwnerCare Pro at any time. Email [email protected] to close your account, and we'll delete your account and customer information. Copies in our backups are deleted as those backups expire, within 90 days.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, especially rules about consent, after telling you why when we reasonably can.

Disclaimers

OwnerCare Pro is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we don't make promises beyond those in these terms, including that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reminders will lead to any particular amount of business.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, OwnerCare Pro isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll email account holders before they take effect.
