OwnerCare Pro

SMS terms

Last updated September 25, 2026

OwnerCare Pro sends service reminder text messages on behalf of pool, spa, and irrigation contractors to their own customers. This page explains how the program works. Each text names the contractor who is sending it.

Program

OwnerCare Pro service reminders. Texts remind homeowners about care and maintenance for equipment their contractor installed, such as first-week care, filter cleaning, seasonal opening and closing, and maintenance check-ins. Each text includes a link where the homeowner can request service from their contractor.

We do not send marketing on behalf of third parties, and we do not sell or rent phone numbers.

How you agree to receive texts

You only receive texts after you give your contractor permission. When your installation is complete, your contractor asks whether you'd like service reminders by text, in person or on their paperwork or contract, using wording like this:

Contractors must confirm they have this consent before adding a customer's mobile number to OwnerCare Pro. Agreeing to texts is never required to buy anything.

Script contractors use to ask

When asking in person or by phone, contractors read this script and only add the customer's number if they answer yes:

If the customer says no, the contractor does not add a mobile number for them.

How often you'll hear from us

Message frequency varies with your installation's care schedule. The standard pool schedule sends about 10 texts in the first year and fewer in later years. Your contractor may adjust the schedule.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. OwnerCare Pro and your contractor do not charge for these texts.

Stopping texts and getting help
